Fraser Coast Chronicle Whale Parade & Concert | August 18, Hervey Bay.

Get your costumes ready because an 'enchantment under the sea' party is coming to the Fraser Coast and will illuminate the Hervey Bay Esplanade with lights, music, costumes and more! For the best view of the parade, pick your spot between Frank Street and Seafront Oval for a 6pm parade.

Live entertainment, carnival rides, market stalls, food stalls and more create the perfect evening for everyone.

An enchanting spectacle of lights and floats representing the humpback's annual migration, followed by a fabulous FREE concert with leading Australian and local artists.

Come on down to Seafront Oval, Pialba and celebrate. We have some fantastic entertainment for the afternoon. Concert kicks off at 2pm, with lots of kids activities, market stalls and amusement rides.

Phineas Q - Main Act

Phineas Q believe in quality and consistency with a choice of songs and styles from 60’s and 70’s for that “Classic twist”, 80’s and 90’s for singing and dancing through to the “OMG that’s my jam” hit songs of today, constantly updating, improving and allowing for the inclusion of advertising nightly specials, upcoming events and announcements throughout the performance.

Phineas Q is a LOCAL band including Central Queensland’s foremost session musicians with a Rhythm Section of Graham Howells and Tim Ingram for that solid tight driving foundation, The Smooth yet Haunting Vocal styles of Ryan Bloomfield, the improvisational and unexpected prop use on a Guitar from Matthew Seaman and Guitar and Vocals from a MMM radio announcer gone rogue in Chris “Banksy” Banks.

Leonie Kingdom - Support Act

Leonie Kingdom is an emerging Indie-Pop Artist located in Hervey Bay, Queensland. She specialises in Acoustic Guitar, Singing, Song writing and Live Performance. Leonie’s Style could be described as Emotional, Dark, and even Haunting. She hopes to share her passion with as many people as possible.

Leonie has achieved semi-finalist positions in competitions such as, 2012 Telstra Road to Discovery and 2016 Gympie Muster Talent Search. In 2017 she took winning title in Hervey Bay’s Unplugged competition. This awarded her the production of Night Terrors, her debut EP recorded at Pacific International Music.

 

 

Marc the Joyologist

Marc will entertain with his stage show including live original nature themed songs with choreographed live, fun interactive dance.  Sharing & Caring,  Rainbow Creatures, Feathers Fins & Flippers, Down the Sea, plus an interactive choreography dance – fun from stage with finale mini parade for the children to come along to open up the enchanted ocean themed play space activities arena.

Have fun in the enchanted ocean themed play space activities arena and enjoy: Rainbow sea star and star turtle parachute games, sea egg juggling fun, bubble magic, and awesome ocean themed face and body art and the most wonderful ocean themed community colouring mural.

Children can participate in the parade group of up to 35 children for parade time including a 35 metre Rainbow Sea Serpent Prop.
