Bring your beach ball and sarong, we are having a BEACH PARTY! Bring the sun and surf to your floats and make a splash! We want the Esplanade pumping with all the beach party-inspired ideas you can think of so onlookers can soak up the fun.

This beach party will illuminate the Hervey Bay Esplanade with lights, music, costumes and more! For the best view of the parade, pick your spot between Frank Street and Seafront Oval for a 6pm parade.

Live entertainment, carnival rides, market stalls, food stalls and more create the perfect evening for everyone.

Micka Scene

Micka Scene is a Singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist who pioneered the Cajon(kick/snare) solo artist combination before it became popular. His voice and songwriting hit straight to the heart with stories of love, the environment, heartbreak and life on the road. Micka has since gone onto touring extensively in Australia, Canada and Europe 3 times over with his unmistakeable voice, Weissenborn Slide and raw talent and amazing energy live. For more on Micka, click here.



Frank Benn

Frank was born in Fiji and grew up on Waiheke Island off the coast of Auckland, New Zealand. Frank mixes the soulful rhythm of the sea in his music to create a natural roots feel. Frank is a local favourite, playing gigs around the region most weekends. For more on Frank, click here. 


The Wal Neilsen Band
Queensland based Singer/Songwriter Wal Neilsen delivers his songs with pure lyrical intelligence. He has a rare ability to translate his creative mind into expressive and contemplative songs. There is a versatility that Wal's music oozes, a dynamic that is hard to categorise. He has no problem pushing lyrical boundaries, and isn't frightened of where his songs go. The Dennis Sisters

The Dennis Sisters are a talented Sunshine Coast duo who made their TV debut on the X Factor Australia in 2016. These top 30 finalists have been performing at many diverse venues and festivals while building their repertoire, with the aim to record their debut EP in 2017. Both sisters are passionate about performing, changing up covers and writing their own original material.  For more on The Dennis Sisters, click here. 

Dogwood Crossing 
Since releasing their first album in 2011, Dogwood Crossing have had a jam packed gig schedule. After receiving their first nomination as finalists in the ‘Music Oz’ Independent Music Awards held at the Sydney Opera House in 2012.
